2.Brief Course Introduction
Consecutive Interpretation I is a compulsory course provided for the sophomore English majors in the fourth semester. It aims to enhance students' competence in interpretation from English to Chinese. This course covers a wide range of important skills needed in consecutive interpreting, including short-term memory training, note-taking skills, source language comprehension, logical analysis, figure interpreting, public speaking skills, coping tactics, etc.
