2. Brief Course Introduction
International Conference Simultaneous Interpretation II is one of the main compulsory courses intended for senior translation majors with the main aim of consolidating the knowledge of and skills in simultaneous interpreting. The contents of teaching focus more on the real practice of conference interpreting with different themes through various teaching methods like theme-oriented speech delivery, mock conference, mock press conference, seminar and so on, which serves to help students experience different conference interpreting occasions and thus lay the foundation of pursuing the interpreting profession.
