This course is basically one of the most important courses for students in art major in universities, which briefly gives students a comprehensive and general introduction to basic theory of art, artistic form, characteristics of artists, development course of art and the value of art. This course is divided into five parts: introduction to art, introduction to artists, introduction to art works, art appreciation, and art criticism.
